• CNN Custom News can deliver custom tailored news to your desktop, create a custom user profile and get only the news that is important to you. They also offer Quickstart profiles to help get you started.

• Infobeat allows you to select "Beats" you want to keep track of, such as Finance, Sports, News, Weather and more. They also send you e-mail on the topics you choose.

• Headliner is a news and information service which can slow your computer with a lot of graphics, however they are not as intrusive as some of the other push channels.

• Marimba Castanet allows you to create your own push channel fairly easily. The channels you choose can then be updated automatically, or you can have the information updated each time you log on to the Internet if you don't have a direct connection.
